Re: Washington Collect Calling Rate Changes
Dear Director Peterson:
This correspondence is to advise you that as early as June 20, 2006 and in some instances
subject to regulatory approval, Evercom and T-NETIX will increase the collect calling rates for
facilities located within the state of Washington. These rate increases are needed to assist in
offsetting the rising costs of providing inmate collect calls. Accordingly, we are writing to inform
you of this change as it will affect the bills of people (friends & families) who choose to receive
collect calls from inmates at your facility. These rate changes may increase your facility
revenues.
We strive to provide you and the inmates'friends and family members with the best service, at
fair rates. We also work hard to offer our facility customers as many features and functions as
possible to assist in managing all call activity. We are implementing these rate changes in order
to continue to provide quality service, as our operating costs increase.
Enclosed is a document detailing the former and revised rate schedules for the facilities affected
by this change.
